In person training on 29th April 2024 at 2-4pm at Newham Dockside W3.07a.
Description
This is a training session targeted to professionals in Newham that work with children and young people. The training will be delivered by De’Shaun Borg- Vincent, resilience worker for Newham Rise children and young people service. This session will last 2 hours and will provide an opportunity for asking questions towards the end.
Learning outcomes
- Increased knowledge and understanding of various licit and illicit substances, including cannabis, vapes and alcohol.
- Increased knowledge and understanding of Harm minimization interventions for young people.
- Increased understanding of current drugs trends in Newham.
- Knowledge of referral system for CGL Newham Rise.
