This is an introduction session for any professional wanting to learn more about how Early Help systems operate in Newham and understand how to support families using an evidence based structures/strategies.  

The session will cover following

  • Newham Early Help Framework and Principles
  • What is a Community Early Help Record?
  • Core principles of Whole Family Approach
  • Role of Lead Practitioner and their role within the multi-agency Team Around the Family (TAF)
  • Thresholds to safeguarding, referral pathways and how to access timely support for families
  • Information on support networks for Early Help professionals

Who should attend:   Early Help professionals who are new to Newham or have limited knowledge of  Early Help Practice or interested in a refresher session to find more about current developments.
