Restorative sessions for social workers.  Move, connect with others, energise.

Join us for four online sessions designed to help you boost your emotional resilience, calm your mind, and reconnect with your body. These sessions are all about giving you space to check in with yourself emotionally, connect with others in a supportive setting, and enjoy some simple, dance-based moves to help you feel both relaxed and energized. Each session will leave you feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on whatever comes your way.

In every session, we’ll dive into a different aspect of emotional resilience, like managing stress, building self-confidence, understanding your strengths, and using hope to help us navigate tough times. We’ll also have some fun with simple dance moves, guided by videos featuring Dame Darcey Bussell and Dr. Peter Lovatt. These moves are specially designed to support emotional wellbeing. You can find out more about Darcey and Peter’s approach here https://move-assure.com/

Your facilitator, Angela Hill, is a certified MoveAssure coach, social worker and resilience practitioner. She’ll guide you through all of this in a way that’s welcoming for everyone—no prior dance experience required! This isn’t about working out; it’s all about using movement to boost your wellbeing.

Angela is road-testing this course before rolling it out to wider audience. You will be invited to complete a feedback questionnaire at the end of the four sessions.
