When allegations are made against staff or volunteers who work with children, organisations need to be aware of their statutory duties. This course aims to inform participants of what these duties are, how the LADO Process works and how to complete internal investigations both inside and outside of this process.
- Know what to do when an allegation is made.
- Have a good understanding of LADO threshold and the process in general.
- Provide support and assistance to employees during the process.
- Complete internal investigations into allegations that fall both inside and outside of the LADO Framework.
- Review/Develop a policy for the Management of Allegations for their Organisation.
