Who is the Online Harms Training for?
The Social Switch Project recognises the need to support professionals and parents/trusted adults in addressing harmful online behaviour and the real-life violence that can result from it.
What will the training cover?
This CPD-certified, interactive session will explore topics including:
- Excessive screen time
- Online grooming
- Inappropriate content
- Body image
- Online influencers
- Violence against women and girls
You will gain skills to:
- Understand young people’s online behaviour and how to support them
- Discuss online safeguarding risks and respond appropriately
- Reflect on your own social media use
- Build resilience in young people facing harmful content
- Encourage young people to become positive voices online
