This training course is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of practitioners working with adolescents, focusing on risk management and complexity.

• Explore adolescent development, including brain and social development.
• Consider effective approaches to building relationships with young people.
• Identify key issues affecting young people both nationally and locally.
• Understand the use of technology within the context of young people’s development.
• Learn how to manage and monitor risks both inside and outside the home.
• Identify early signs of trauma and risk in adolescents.
• Consider practical ways to engage young people and their carers.
