This one-day training program delivered over 2 virtual sessions is intended for professionals who work with families and individuals, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills related to neurodivergence. The focus of this training is on supporting neurodivergent individuals within the service.

The virtual training will be interactive and practical, designed to build confidence and foster reflection and curiosity. We will present best practice approaches and tools for supporting neurodivergent individuals through discussions and case studies relevant to practice.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course, practitioners will be able to:

  • Recognise neurodiversity and understand how neurodivergent individuals navigate the world.
  • Identify strategies to remove barriers and empower individuals in accessing support.
  • Understand pathways to support.
  • Assess the needs of individuals with confidence, appreciating the significance of language and communication.
