Session for social workers from 10am-12 noon.
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the session participants will:
- Have increased awareness of the health needs of children and young people who are in care
- Have an awareness and understanding of the health pathway for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children
- Have a clear understanding of local processes and procedures for completing Initial/Review Health Assessments
- Have a clear understanding of the role of health and social care to deliver a timely and holistic health assessment and health care service to all children &Young people who are under the care of the local authority.
- Have a clear understanding of how Initial/Review Health Assessments feed into the child's/young person’s overarching care plan
