Participants will develop an understanding of what the term perinatal mental illness means and its recognition.
- Have an understanding of the national view
- Be informed of local treatment pathways
- Develop an understanding of the nature of risk and its management in the perinatal period
- Develop an understanding of the impact of perinatal mental illness on the infant and family
- Able to consider the impact of stigma and culture on perinatal mental illness.
