This training introduces co-production and shows how it’s principles can be used in the co-design, co-development and co-evaluation of services.
Course content
This course explains the valuable role of co-production in the collaborative development of services.
Content includes:
- an overview of co-production
- an outline of the pillars of co-production
- an outline of the co-production cycle
- learning how co-production is different to consultation, participation and involvement
Learning outcomes
This course is a useful introduction to co-production. It boosts knowledge and understanding around best practice and the main principles. Participants will:
- create a shared understanding of what co-production is, looking at theory and practice
- enable staff to confidently explain what co-production looks like in Newham’s Early Help (Children and Young People Services)
- gain knowledge and confidence to put co-production into practice
- increase understanding of good practice
- understand the difference between co-production, consultation, forums and focus groups
