Child Abuse Awareness

This training session will cover: 

-Safeguarding legislation and application to practice 

-Signs of abuse and how to recognise them 

-Referral processes for children's social care

-Understanding child protection processes

-Information sharing 

With realistic case studies and a focus on circles of support, participants will leave with clarity on safeguarding processes and confidence in their decision making where there are concerns relating to child abuse. This training is also an ideal refresher for experienced practitioners.
